The annual COPE Challenge is conducted by V2K at the HHCSR COPE Challenge Course. The event features team competitions on both the Low and High COPE events. Participants meet at Kennedy High School at 8 AM on Saturday, October 1st to form carpools to the camp. Teams will form upon arrival at the course and begin by completing many of the Low COPE events.
Following a lunch break (provided by the Crew), the teams move onto the High COPE section to begin the intense part of the competition. Teams placing first, second and third receive medals. Names of the overall champion team are engraved onto the plaque displayed in the Ikes Clubhouse.
Participants should come prepared to climb on the various event. Most people prefer to wear tennis shoes (or other comfortable climbing shoes), long sleeve shirts and long pants. Warm -up or sweat pants or other loose-fitting clothes are recommended. All refreshments and lunches are provided.
